Our school sites are based in, or in close proximity to, the Hawaiian Homestead Community of Keaukaha.

With its abundance of ancient operational fishponds and mostly accessible coastline, Keaukaha offers an exceptional environment for place-based learning. This locale not only nurtures the development of environmental inquiry skills but also plays a role in shaping individuals who are devoted to their communities.

Utilizing Keaukaha as our learning laboratory, haumāna develop environmental literacy skills and a deep connection and understanding of place that will then allow them to enrich their communities and take positions of responsibility beyond the boundaries of the school.
